To manage all HR Policy and Information Management matters.
- Functions:
- Develop and interpret the implementation of national and departmental specific human resource policy as well as input into national and provincial policy.
- Develop and maintain human resource information and knowledge management system.
- Exercise control over PERSAL and other HR systems.
- Provide human resource research and product development.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on HR matters.

Purpose:
To manage the development, implementation and maintenance of individual performance management systems.
- Functions:
- Develop Performance Management systems and instruments in accordance with national and provincial guidelines.
- Monitor the implementation of PM systems in accordance with national and provincial guidelines.
- Maintain PM systems.

Purpose:
To manage all employee health and wellness and HR Special programmes and coordinate the OD function.
- Functions:
- Develop and maintain human resource plan (including EE).
- Coordinate organisational development interventions (including norms and standards), job evaluation and change management.
- Manage employee health and wellness and HR special programmes.
