Purpose:
To plan and coordinate infrastructure projects, learner transport schemes, equipment, and LTSM delivery in respect of learning sites (including schools, AET and ECD centres and FET colleges).

Functions:
  1. Plan and coordinate infrastructure projects in respect of learning sites (including schools, AET and ECD centres and FET colleges).
  2. Plan and coordinate learner transport schemes, equipment and LTSM delivery in respect of learning sites (including schools, AET and ECD centres and FET colleges).
Infrastructure
Purpose:
To plan and coordinate infrastructure projects in respect of learning sites (including schools, AET and ECD centres and FET colleges).
Functions:
  1. Determine future educational infrastructure needs.
  2. Manage the planning and coordination of the building of schools and other infrastructure programmes in conjunction with Public Works.
  3. Ensure the effective utilisation of all WCED accommodation.
   
LTSM, LTS, Equipment
Purpose:
To plan and coordinate learner transport schemes, equipment and LTSM delivery in respect of learning sites (including schools, AET and ECD centres and FET colleges).
Functions:
  1. Manage the planning and coordination of the Learner Transport Scheme.
  2. Manage the planning and coordination of equipment and LTSM needs in line with the future infrastructure needs.
