Purpose:
To meet the objectives of the Provincial Human Capital Development Strategy by ensuring the quality of education and education institutions in the province.
- Functions:
- Render departmental communication services.
- Manage the office of the SG including education safety.
- Provide management information, planning, strategy, policy coordination and quality assurance services.
- Manage curriculum development, assessment and examination processes.
- Manage the development of education institutions and management structures and coordinate delivery of programmes and activities.
- Manage the continuous and sustained effectiveness, efficiency and economy in providing corporate support.
